Our company, the

„RITTER Natursteinberatung und -begutachtung GmbH“

was founded in 1985 by Hermann Ritter and was overtook by his daughter Anette Ritter-Höll. We are independed stone consultants for building owners, architects in all questions of the subject “natural stone”.

Hermann Ritter was born in the castle of Mörnsheim, two kilometres away from the world famous quarries of the city of Solnhofen. He began to work in these quarries right after the Second World War in the year 1948 (in the same quarries in which his oncle also worked). After education as a stone technican in Switzerland he returned to Germany and worked till 1984 in several stone companies. His last position was Deputy General Manager (DGM) of about
300 employees before he is getting self-employed in 1985.

Mrs. Anette Ritter-Höll studied geology at the University in Munich, worked for some years in quarries (Finland, United States of America, Carrara/Italy), in the metal production firm of Gartner / Permasteelisa for the panels of the Messeturm in Frankfurt/Main (Germany) and worked also on a building site (for fixing the stone plates). For therefore the knowledge “of the rules” is present. Further on, she is making expert judgementes, also for courts
